NIT, Rourkela, an institute of national importance under Ministry of HRO, Govt. of India invites applications for faculty for faculty position at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and assistant Professor in most branches of Engineering, Science, Management and Humanities as per following table;.

While ph. D degree will be a mandatory requirement for appointment to all the posts in the regular cadre, canter candidates expecting Ph. D degree shortly may be considered to the post of Assistant Professor on contract. Salary, allowances and other incentives will be as per 6^th CPC recommendations applicable to the centrally Funded Technical Institutes (4- tier flexible structure0 as notified by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
