Age Limit: Candidates age should be 25 years for General Male candidates, 30 years for General Female candidates for S.No-1 & 35 years for Male candidates, 40 years for Female candidates for S.No-2 as on the date of advertisement. For age relaxation refer the notification.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess minimum 2 nd class Masters degree in Botany of Plant Sciences awarded by a UGC recognized university for S.No-1 & doctorate or equivalent degree with outstanding track record and proven leadership qualities in the area of taxonomic research with relevant experience for S.No-2.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview for S.No-1.

Application Fee:
For S.No-1: Candidates should pay Rs. 400/- (Rs.200/- for OBC, Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PH applicants) account payee Bank demand draft drawn in favour of ‘Accounts Officer, PAO (BSI/ ZSI), Kolkata’.

For S.No-2: Candidates should pay Rs. 500/- account payee Bank demand draft drawn in favour of ‘Accounts Officer, PAO (BSI/ ZSI), Kolkata’.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates send their application in the prescribed format by affixing a recent passport size photograph along with self attested photocopies of all relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification, envelope should be superscribed with ‘APPLICATION FOR JPF’ for S.No-1 & ‘APPLICATION FOR PDF’ for S.No-2 by speed post to the concerned address on or before 13-01-2017.
