Eligibility Criteria for CMRL Vacancy 2021:
Educational Qualification: (As on 05.05.2021)

Should possess minimum 23 years of post qualification experience in execution of large Infrastructure projects like Major Bridge Constructions with Highways / Railways and Metro Rail Project, out of 23 years of experience, minimum of 5-8 years of experience exclusively in Metro constructions / deep excavation support systems are essential. Should be familiar with contract management related to large infrastructure projects. Should have knowledge & skill in management of FIDIC conditions of contract / International civil construction Contracts. Exposure in Quality Control & Assurance system in civil construction, Safety Implementation, Program Monitoring, IS / International Codes for construction of civil underground structures will be an added Page 2 of 9 advantage. International working Experience w.r.t underground as well as top-down construction technology in urban locations will be an added advantage. |
2. | Additional General Manager (Safety) | Must possess B.E / B. Tech in Engineering from a recognized Institute / University with minimum one year PG / Diploma in Industrial Safety from State Board of Technical Education / other recognized Institution. The candidate should have minimum of 17 years of post-qualification experience in the following fields. Out of 17 years of experience, he / she should possess minimum of 5 years of experience in Metro Construction / Major Infrastructure Projects. Candidate with ME / M. Tech in Industrial Safety is preferable. Possession of International Certification in CSP (Certified Safety Professionals) and Diploma in NEBOSH, MISH, MI SISI will be an added advantage. i. Responsible for Construction and Operation & Maintenance Safety. ii. Should have a good knowledge on Safety Rules, Accident / Disaster Management and related procedures and Training of Operations Staff. Should have sound knowledge on “Indian Legal Requirement” and Training of construction Staff. iii. Develop, implement and ensure policies and procedures are in place. iv. Inspect the workplace for potential hazards, identify potential hazards, assess the risks and report potential hazards. Experience in conducting accident investigations are desirable. v. Ensure that the organization is compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements, conduct trainings for Officials / staff to make sure that they are aware of safety regulations, procedures and provide guidance on the subject matter. vi. Must be well versed in occupational safety standards, rules and procedures, experienced in enforcing project site safety rules. Assist in safety audit, inspection, accident / incident follow up and etc., vii. Implement and administer project safety program. Assist in the development of site safety policies and procedures. viii. Conduct site safety training, schedule and run regular safety meetings & monitor all construction work for safety compliance. ix. Experience in handling Fire Fighting System and Organizing mock drill exercise for various emergencies in coordination with various departments. x. Implementing all the security and safety related tasks like CCTV monitoring, night hours alertness & monitor the access movement & wireless communication system etc., |
3. | Additional General Manager (Legal) | Must be a graduate in Law from a recognized Institution / University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade. Should possess minimum 17 years of post qualification experience in handling legal matters in a PSU or in a Company in private sector having a minimum annual turnover of Rs.250 Crore. (The candidate should submit recent financial year documentary proof along with the application to establish that the PSU / Company has an annual turnover of Rs.250 Crore or more). Relevant experience in Govt. sector or major Law Firms will also be considered. Possession of Master’s degree in law will be an added advantage. Experience in dealing with legal matters relating to Contracts, Arbitration & Land Acquisition matters, etc will be preferred. Shall be responsible for reviewing and providing legal advice on tender Documents, review ongoing cases and advice accordingly. Liaise with relevant departments to ensure and minimize legal risks that have been identified and suggest appropriate remedial action. Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management. Review and draft contracts, agreements and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory requirements. Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with external panel Advocates to resolve the issues. Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly. To review all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the management’s attention. |
4. | Additional General Manager (* QA/QC) | Must possess BE / B. Tech in Civil engineering from a recognized Institute / University. Should have minimum 17 years of post qualification experience in the following field and out of 17 years of experience, minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) experience in Metro Railway / Large Infrastructure / Construction projects are essential. Additional Certificates / Diploma in Quality related to Civil works will be an added advantage. i. Responsible for Quality Assurance & Quality Control during execution of Metro project. ii. Should have good knowledge of all QA / QC standards, rules and related procedures and impart training on Quality works. Knowledge on ISO Standards in Quality is preferable. iii. Review & Implementation of Quality Management and System procedure including Quality Audits, NCRs & Factory Inspections etc., iv. Should take care of QA / QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction / observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA / QC documents. v. Ensure that the organization is compliant with all contractual requirements, conduct trainings to staff in order to make sure they are aware of regulations, procedures and provide guidance. |

Selection Procedure for CMRL:
Selection Procedure:
The selection methodology comprises two-stage process, interview followed by medical examination. The selection process will judge the candidate on different facets like knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness.
Medical Examination: Expenses for the first time medical examination of the candidate will be borne by CMRL. However, in case a candidate seeks extension for joining, then the second time medical examination expenditure will be borne by the candidate. To & fro travel expenses for the medical test shall be borne by the candidate. The candidate who fails in the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment and decision of CMRL is final on this issue.
