NIWE Chennai Eligibility Criteria:

 Educational Qualification for NIWE Chennai Project Engineer: 

1. Project Engineer Gr I (S&R-01) – Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech., in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with first class or Its equivalent Gr from recognized university. Desirable Qualification: M.E/M.Tech., in Engineering Stream with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university.  Essential Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in Engineering/Technology field. (OR) Having a valid GATE Score.

2. Project Engineer Gr I (TES-02) – Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering stream) with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university. Desirable Qualification: M.E / M.Tech in Engineering Stream with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university.   Essential Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in any Engineering field. (OR) Having valid GATE score

3. Project Consultant (TES-03) – Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation Engineering stream) with first class or Its equivalent Gr from recognized university Desirable Qualification: Nil Essential Experience: Having 20 years of experience In the Engineering Laboratory with working experience in handling Laboratory Management System as per ISO/IEC 17025, calibration activities, equipment management system.

4. Project Staff – Technical (TES-04) –  Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with first dam or Its equivalent Gr from recognized university  Desirable Qualification:  Should possess good knowledge in effective report writing and communication skills and knowledge in computer and familiarity in MS-Office.   Essential Experience: At least one year in the renewable energy sector, preferably  wind energy, and a bachelor’s degree in any field with seven years of experience, two of which were spent managing outreach initiatives like events, trainings, seminars, workshops, and conferences

5. Project Coordinator Level – I (SDT-05) – Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in any discipline with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university.  Desirable Qualification: Should possess good knowledge in effective report writing and communication skills and knowledge in computers and familiarity in MS-Office. Essential Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 10 years of experience or Master’s Degree in any discipline with 07 years of experience of which 02 years of experience in handling outreach activities such as Events, Trainings, Seminar, Workshop & Conference and at least Two years in Renewable Energy Sector preferably Wind Erie

6. Project Coordinator Level – II (SDT-06) –  Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering strewn) with first class or Its equivalent Gr from recognized university Desirable Qualification:   M.E / M.Tech In Engineering Stream with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university   Essential Experience: Having a valid GATE score or Two years of experience In any Engineering field.

7. Project Engineer Gr I (C&IT-07) –  Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering stream) with first class or Its equivalent Gr from recognized university Desirable Qualification: M.E / M.Tech In Engineering Stream with first class or Its equivalent Gr from recognized university   Essential Experience: Having valid GATE score or Two years of experience In any Engineering field.

8. Project Engineer Gr I (C&IT-08) – Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech (EEE/ Electrical Engineering stream) with first dass or its equivalent Gr from recognized university   Desirable Qualification: M.E / M.Tech in Engineering Stream with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university   Essential Experience: Having valid GATE score OR Two years of experience In any Engineering field.

9. Project Engineer Gr II (OWD-09) –  Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech Civil with first dass or its equivalent Gr from recognized university   Desirable Qualification: • M.Tech In Structural Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering/Environmental Engineering with first doss or its equivalent Gr from recognized university • Working knowledge in structural design software. • Essential Experience: Having valid GATE score OR Minimum two years of experience in civil engineering works related to structures, geophysical/ Geotechnical, Environmental Impact Assessment studies.

10. Project Engineer Gr II (OWD-10) – Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Atmospheric physics/ M.Sc Meteorology with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university.BE in Any discipline with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university. Desirable Qualification: NilE ssential Experience: • Having valid GATE score OR • Minimum two years of experience (for M.Sc. Atmospheric physics/ M.Sc Meteorology) • Minimum four years of experience (for BE in any discipline) • The experience should be in Wind data analysis and wind resource simulation model.

11. Project Engineer Gr II (WRA-11) –  Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Civil Engineering stream with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university. Desirable: Master of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Civil Engineering stream with first class or its equivalent Gr from recognized university.  Desirable Qualification: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in site inspection, data analysis, surveying or site assessment roles, preferably in the renewable energy or wind farm industry. Proven track record in conducting site inspection and terrain analysis.  Essential Experience: Knowledge in GIS or related fields. Familiarity with wind resource assessment. Strong interpersonal skills with good  communication and presentation skills.
