RITES Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification for RITES:

  1. Resident Engineer:
     • Minimum Education: Full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
     • Minimum Experience: 5 years.
  2. Technician:
     • Minimum Education: Full-time BSc in Physics or Chemistry.
     • Minimum Experience: 3 years.

• Age Limit for RITES (as of 11.03.2025):

  1. Resident Engineer: 40 years
  2. Technician: 40 years

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:

• SC/ST Applicants: 5 years
• OBC Applicants: 3 years
• PwBD (Gen/EWS) Applicants: 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST) Applicants: 15 years
• PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years
• Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Government Policy

Pay Scale for RITES:

1. Resident Engineer: Rs. 32,492/-
2. Technician: Rs. 26,649/-
