Eligibility Criteria for SERC Chennai:
- Trade (ITI) Apprenticeship: ITI in the respective trade of NCVT.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline.
- Graduate (Degree) Apprenticeship: Full-time degree in the relevant discipline.
Age Limit (as of 03.03.2025):
- Trade (ITI) Apprenticeship: Minimum 14 years
- Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship: Minimum 18 years, maximum 24 years
- Graduate (Degree) Apprenticeship: Minimum 21 years, maximum 26 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Policy
Pay Scale for SERC Chennai:
- Trade (ITI) Apprenticeship: Rs. 10,500/-
- Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship: Rs. 12,000/-
- Graduate (Degree) Apprenticeship: Rs. 13,000/-
