Eligibility Criteria:
Scientist B (Group A) - Post 01:
- Essential: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Master's degree in Hydrology/Water Resources/Coastal Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Desirable: Ph.D. with research experience in hydrological modelling, submarine groundwater discharge, or coastal dynamics, demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Scientist B (Group A) - Post 02:
- Essential: Master's degree in Geology/Earth Sciences or equivalent with at least 60% marks.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in Geology with a specialization in structural geology and research experience in landslide mapping/hazard assessment, as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Age Limit (As of 07.04.2025):
- Post 01 (Scientist B): Not exceeding 35 years
- Post 02 (Scientist B): Not exceeding 38 years (35 years + 3 years relaxation for OBC)
Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
- SC/ST applicants: 5 years
- OBC applicants: 3 years
Pay Scale:
