A Circle and a Polygon

What do you call a circle that touches all the sides of a polygon?

Answer:    inscribed. A circle is said to be inscribed in a polygon when each side is tangential to the circle. In case of the simplest polygon- a triangle the inscribed circle is obtained by bisecting the angles of a triangle. These bisectors pass through a common point which is the centre of the inscribed circle.
