Crossing Circles

What do you call two circles which cut ‘right ‘across each other?

Answer:    Orthogonal: Orthogonal means ‘right – angled’. In other words pertaining to or depending upon the use of right angles. If any curves cut at right angles, they are said to intersect orthogonally.

Such curves are of interest in many branches of applied mathematics. A point of interest about two circles cutting orthogonally is that the square of the distance between the centers is equal to the sum of the squares of their radii.
