 The RAC invites online applications form Engineering Graduates and Post Graduate in Science for direct recruitment to the posts of 630 Scientist 'B' vacancies in Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA). DRDO RAC Scientist B Recruitment Age Limit:

DRDO: 29 years for UR / EWS, 31 years for OBC (NCL) and 33 years for SC / ST.

DST: 35 years for UR / EWS, 38 years for OBC (NCL) and 40 years for SC / ST.

ADA: 30 years for UR / EWS, 33 years for OBC (NCL) and 35 years for SC / ST.

RAC Scientist B Recruitment Salary / Pay Scale:

1. Stenographer Grade III: ₹ 25,500/- (Cell No. 1 in Level 04 of Pay Matrix) plus usual allowances as admissible in Central Government Employees.
2. Driver Ordinary Grade: ₹ 19,900/-  (Cell No. 1 in Level 04 of Pay Matrix) plus usual allowances as admissible in Central Government Employees.
3. Work Assistant-A: ₹ 18,000/-  (Cell No. 1 in Level 04 of Pay Matrix) plus usual allowances as admissible in Central Government Employees.

RAC Scientist B Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

• At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E. / B.Tech) in relevant engineering discipline (or) Master's Degree in relevant science subject from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Valid GATE Score in relevant subjects.

RAC Scientist B Recruitment Selection Process: Selection on the basis of

(1) GATE Score

(2) Written Examination

(3) Personal Interview.
