Can you name the greatest and the least of the following?
Log (2+4), (log 2+ log 4 ), log (6-3) and (log 6 – log 3).
Answer: Greatest:
Log 2 + Log 4: Smallest: Log 6+ Log 3
Log (2+4) = Log 6
Log 2 + Log 4 = Log (2x4) = Log 8
Log (6-3) = Log 3
Log 6 - Log 3 = Log 6 ÷ 3 = Log 2
Log 8 is the greatest and Log 2 is the least of these
values.
